The typical customer installation in iCore’s enhanced disaster prevention and recovery system consists of a primary private circuit connected to one of the two geographically redundant and technologically mirrored Network Access Centers (NACs), with a managed backup circuit hosted by an additional NAC; both of which are equipped with primary and backup data servers. The upgraded hardware, advanced software and true geographic data center redundancy will enable iCore to prepare its customers for the worst by making a detailed disaster recovery plan available to every customer.

Staff can connect IP telephones (hard phone or soft phone) to the office from virtually any location in the world with a broadband connection.  Whether at home, or in a hotel in China, plug in the phone and log in your number.  That phone is now your office phone. 

From an IP phone you have 4-digit extension dialing to the rest of the organization anywhere.  The receptionist can transfer calls to you.  Outgoing calls show up on a recipient’s caller ID as your office number.  Incoming calls to your office number ring on your phone wherever you are.  In effect, the world-wide-web becomes your PBX. Better yet, there are no long distance charges.

Moving staff within the office is simple.  No phone equipment needs to be changed.  To transfer phones, log the new number into the phone and the phone is reassigned.
