New Office Will Provide Higher Level Customer Support to Expanding Customer Base and Increase Sales Growth in Mid-Atlantic Region

McLean, VA – June 3, 2010- iCore Networks, the Nation’s Capital’s leading provider of Voice over Private Internet (VoPI) services, announces today the opening of their first ever field office, located in Columbia, Maryland. The office has been established to provide a high level of customer support to iCore’s growing customer base of more then 5,000 users in the Baltimore region and to continue to penetrate and grow within the Mid-Atlantic market.

With the launch of the Columbia Office, iCore plans to expand their employee base, at this location alone, to exceed 50 employees by year end with the ability to scale to a 100 person team. The focus of employees at the Columbia office will be to service their existing customers, keeping them up-to-date on iCore’s expanding service offerings, such as Cloud Telephony Solutions and their Managed Trunking Services, as well as focusing on developing new customers and prospects in this region.

Baltimore customers will also receive the benefits of iCore’s fully operational on-site Network Operation Center (NOC) located at their headquarters in McLean. The state-of the-art operation center hosts a fully functional lab environment consisting of Cisco Systems, BroadSoft and Linux based systems introducing Global Hosted Unified Communications to customers. With over 27,000 customers, the network will continue to be supported by two fully redundant Datacenters monitored at the NOC facility. The Columbia office is located at 5950 Symphony Woods Road.
