McLean, VA- March 11, 2010 - iCore Networks, the D.C. metro area’s leading provider of Voice over Private Internet (VoPI) services, announces that it will expand its corporate operations to a new facility in McLean, VA. The new site will feature 25,000 square feet of space with 4,000 square feet dedicated to a fully operational on-site Network Operation Center (NOC).
“We are very excited about our move and expansion”, said Stephen Canton, Chairman and CEO of iCore Networks, “we’re coming off a tremendous growth year and are looking forward, to having an expanded and dedicated site for our Customer Support Service and Engineering groups, who monitor the network and Datacenters, to continue to provide excellent service and reliability to our expanding clientele.”
The state-of the-art operation’s center will host a fully functional lab environment consisting of Cisco Systems, BroadSoft and Linux based systems introducing Global Hosted Unified Communications to customers in the metro DC area; and will house more than one-hundred employees offering 24/7/365 support to an expanding customer base of users in their hosted VoPI Network. With over 25,000 customers, the network will continue to be supported by two fully redundant Datacenters monitored at our new NOC facility in McLean.
